Cross Country Suite Hits Chicago


October, 2007 – Cross Country Suite, composed by Nelson Riddle, was performed by the Chicago Jazz Orchestra on October 7, 2007 at Northwestern University in Chicago. The guest soloist was Buddy DeFranco, who was the original solist on the album that won a Grammy in 1958. It was a privilege to be present at this momentous occasion.
